The Sumud Flotilla activists illegally detained by Israel must be released immediately. The aid they were carrying is for children whom Israel starves and women whom Israel bombs.
Last week, I met Palestinian girls and mothers who were injured, lost loved ones, saw their homes destroyed or were separated from their family. Palestinian girls dream of going to their schools and living their lives in dignity. The people working to help them survive must be allowed to deliver humanitarian aid like baby formula and medicine.
Governments must speak up for their citizens on the flotilla, and demand Israel end the siege on Gaza now.
