이번 NATO 정상회의를 계기로 니쿠쇼르 단 루마니아 대통령님과 처음 만나 뜻깊은 대화를 나눴습니다. 루마니아는 아시아 국가 가운데 가장 먼저 대한민국과 전략적 동반자 관계를 맺은 특별한 친구이자 협력국입니다. 루마니아는 신궁, K9 자주포 도입 등 우리 방산 역량에 꾸준한 신뢰를 보여주고 있습니다. 앞으로도 방산을 비롯해 원전과 인프라 등 여러 분야에서 협력을 확대하며 미래를 함께 준비해 나가자고 뜻을 모았습니다. 대한민국과 루마니아의 국민 여러분께서 체감하실 수 있는 협력의 결실을 차근차근 만들어가겠습니다. 대통령님과도 더욱 긴밀히 소통하며 양국 협력의 새로운 길을 함께 열어가길 기대합니다. On the sidelines of the NATO Summit, I had a highly meaningful first meeting with Romanian President Nicușor Dan. Romania is a truly special partner and friend to the Republic of Korea, and we are the first Asian country to establish a Strategic Partnership with them. Romania continues to show steadfast confidence in our defense industry, which is highlighted by their recent acquisition of Chiron and K9 Self-Propelled Howitzers. During our discussion, we agreed to build on this momentum by expanding our cooperation in defense industry, nuclear energy, and infrastructure to prepare for the future together. We are committed to delivering tangible outcomes that the peoples of both nations can truly feel. I look forward to working closely with President @NicusorDanRO to forge a new path forward for our bilateral relations.
