대한민국과 노르웨이는 신재생에너지와 조선·해양, 방산을 비롯한 다양한 분야에서 협력하며 우정을 쌓아왔습니다. 특히 노르웨이는 K9자주포와 천무 다연장로켓 등 우리 방산 역량에 꾸준한 신뢰를 보내주고 있는 국가이기도 합니다. 요나스 가르 스퇴레 노르웨이 총리님과 만나 올해 초 체결된 천무 다연장로켓 획득 계약을 계기로 방산 협력을 한층 강화하고, 미래 신산업 분야에서도 협력을 확대해 나가기로 뜻을 모았습니다. 아울러 유럽과 한반도의 안보 상황을 비롯한 지역 및 국제 정세에 대해서도 깊이 있는 의견을 나눴습니다. 오늘의 회담이 양국 국민 여러분께서 체감하실 수 있는 성과로 이어질 수 있도록 더욱 최선을 다하겠습니다. 스퇴레 총리님, 만나 뵙게 되어 반가웠습니다. The Republic of Korea and Norway have built a strong friendship through cooperation across a wide range of areas, including renewable energy, shipbuilding and maritime industries, and the defense industry. Norway has also been a steadfast partner that has consistently placed its trust in Korea’s defense capabilities, including the K9 self-propelled howitzer and the Chunmoo multiple launch rocket system. I had a productive meeting with Prime Minister @jonasgahrstore this morning. Building on the Chunmoo acquisition contract signed earlier this year, we agreed to further strengthen our defense industrial cooperation and expand collaboration in emerging industries as well. We also had an in-depth exchange of views on regional and global issues, including the security situations in Europe and on the Korean Peninsula. I will continue to do my utmost to ensure that the outcomes of today's meeting are translated into tangible benefits for the peoples of both our countries.
