미국 독립 250주년을 맞아 트럼프 대통령님과 미국 국민 여러분께 축하를 전합니다. 250년 전 자유와 민주주의라는 이상을 향한 위대한 여정을 시작한 미국은 수많은 도전을 극복하며 국제사회의 평화와 번영을 이끌어 왔습니다. 대한민국은 이러한 가치를 함께 지켜온 미국의 소중한 동반자입니다. 70여 년 전 한국전쟁 당시 수많은 미국의 젊은이들은 대한민국의 자유를 지키기 위해 희생을 마다하지 않았습니다. 우리는 그 숭고한 헌신을 영원히 기억하며, 한미동맹을 더욱 굳건히 이어갈 것입니다. 오늘날 양국은 안보를 넘어 경제와 첨단기술, 에너지, 조선, 원자력, 인공지능을 비롯한 미래 분야까지 협력의 지평을 넓히며 함께 번영하는 미래지향적 동반자로 발전해 나가고 있습니다. 앞으로도 트럼프 대통령님과 함께 공동의 가치와 굳건한 신뢰를 바탕으로 한미동맹의 새로운 도약을 이루고, 한반도와 세계의 평화와 공동 번영에 함께 기여해 가겠습니다. 독립 250주년을 다시 한번 축하드리며, 미국 국민 모두에게 신의 축복과 평화가 함께하길 온 마음으로 기원합니다. I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to President Trump and the people of the United States on the historic occasion of the 250th anniversary of American Independence. Two hundred and fifty years ago, the United States embarked on a great journey toward the ideals of freedom and democracy, and by overcoming countless challenges, it has led the international community toward peace and prosperity. The Republic of Korea is a cherished partner of the United States, having stood together to defend these very values. More than seventy years ago during the Korean War, numerous young Americans did not hesitate to sacrifice their lives to defend the freedom of the Republic of Korea. We will never forget their noble dedication and will continue to strengthen the ironclad ROK-U.S. alliance. Today, our two nations are expanding the horizons of our cooperation beyond security into economy, advanced technology, energy, shipbuilding, nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, and emerging fields, evolving into future-oriented partners that prosper together. I look forward to working closely with President @realDonaldTrump based on our shared values and unwavering trust, to achieve a new leap forward for the ROK-U.S. alliance and to contribute together to the peace and mutual prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and the world.
