🇸🇦 #ICESCO participated in an international symposium held on 12 August 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of International Youth Day 2026, organized by the #UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE), in cooperation with Yemen’s Ministry of Education, under the theme “Different Contexts, Shared Aspirations: Youth Reimagining Quality and Excellence in Education.” Representing ICESCO, Muhidurrohman Ahmad Machin, member of ICESCO’s Young Professionals Program, and Doha Bensaid, from the Organization’s Translation and Publishing Center, delivered two presentations addressing future skills and the transformation of education in the age of artificial intelligence. Their contributions highlighted: 🔹 The growing need to equip young people with both digital and human skills, from AI, data, and cybersecurity to critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability, to navigate a rapidly changing world of work. 🔹 The importance of strengthening pathways from education to employment and entrepreneurship, while building future education systems around forward-looking policies, responsible digital governance, investment in teachers, future competencies, and digital equity. 🔹 The need to involve young people as active partners in shaping education policies and ensure that AI remains a tool for empowering learners, with human values and ethical considerations at the heart of education. @UNESCO_RCQE @moe_edu_yem
