✅#ICESCO participated in the International Conference on “Displacement and Women”, held by the Women’s Council of the West Azerbaijan Community on Saturday, March 1, 2025, to raise awareness on the rights of displaced women from West #Azerbaijan. The goal is to assist women who face challenges in accessing healthcare, education and employment, with the in-person and virtual participation of nearly 50 influential women from 12 countries. ✅ICESCO was represented at the conference by Ms. Ramata Almamy Mbaye, Head of the Human and Social Sciences Sector, who stressed in the Organization’s commitment to cooperate with Azerbaijan to support displaced women. ✅She also highlighted ICESCO’s initiatives and programs in promoting and supporting the well-being and mental health of marginalized communities and social groups, especially women, children and youth in crisis areas and difficult circumstances such as displacement. The conference concluded with a collective appeal to the international community, urging immediate action to address the rights and needs of displaced women.
