Want to know what actually happens when a country’s people and military don’t want to fight for their country or under their leadership anymore and “just want to surrender”? Look at Bashar al-Assad’s Syria. Look at Afghanistan in 2021. Look at Saddam Hussein’s Iraq in 2003. Look at Russia in 1917, at last. And then, for fuck’s sake, look at Ukraine since 2014, especially since 2022, and right up to this very day. And I am genuinely astonished that such blindingly obvious, elementary things still need to be explained.
