Today, I was proud to announce that the new I-95 interchange at Oslo Road in Indian River County has been completed a year ahead of schedule. This is the first new interchange built in this area in nearly 50 years. This new interchange is an investment in congestion relief and public safety. Oslo Road commuters will see their drive times cut in half, and emergency response times along I-95 will be reduced by up to 56 percent. As part of this project, @MyFDOT acquired right of way near the interchange to create a dedicated gopher tortoise relocation habitat for Southeast Florida.
