Great to speak with industry leaders at the 2026 Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism in West Palm Beach, hosted by @VISITFLORIDA. Tourism is vital to our state’s growing economy, bringing in revenue without overburdening our infrastructure, schools, and services. Florida welcomed a record 143.3 million visitors last year, and every dollar that visitors spend offsets the tax burden for Florida residents. Thanks in part to the revenue from tourism, we’ve been able to deliver record tax relief to Floridians since I became governor. Now, we’re fighting for additional relief to make Florida more affordable for families and more competitive for businesses—and the tourism industry helps make this possible.
