🇺🇸🇺🇦 Donald Trump: ‘Zelensky could have made a good deal back in March 2025…he could have made a much better deal than he can make now.’ As much as European leaders may clutch their pearls at Trump’s comments in outrage, it doesn’t make it any less true. Zelensky has lost the Odessa Port, and Russia has effectively rendered Ukraine a landlocked country. After Trump’s daft war on Iran, there are no more interceptor supplies coming in to stop Russia’s ballistic missile and drone attacks from laying waste to Ukraine’s infrastructure in retaliation for Ukrainian strikes inside Russia. And obviously, more young Ukrainians are dead, and Ukraine continues its demographic death spiral, as Kiev loses even more territory. Zelensky listened to delusional European leaders, and now faces being unceremoniously discarded by Washington, like so many used up proxies of old.
