In 1776, the US🇺🇸 defeated the British Empire🇬🇧 with ASYMMETRIC warfare, now the US is defeated by asymmetric warfare in Vietnam and Afghanistan. Former CIA Advisor Michael O’Hanlon: ‘The US’ success in the War of Independence wound up foreshadowing some of the opposition that not only the US, but France, Russia, and other great powers of the last 100 years have faced everywhere from Afghanistan to Vietnam to Algeria, Where often the established powers have been defeated by insurgents using these asymmetric tactics, and so that, 250 years ago it was the other way around.
