Good meeting with @AlgeriaUNOG Ambassador Idris Latreche on negotiations for the Pandemic Agreement annex on Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing. I appreciated #Algeria’s leadership of the African Group and its commitment to concluding this critical process to help make the world safer from future pandemics. We also discussed @WHO’s transformation and reforms to the global health architecture. I praised Algeria’s investments in universal health coverage and in local medicine production and regulation.
