My heartfelt condolences to those who have lost loved ones in the deadly earthquake in #Colombia. While search and rescue efforts are underway, the health priorities are to treat the injured, ensure essential health services are maintained in the affected areas, and assessing the scale of the damage on the health system. So far, damage has been reported in 24 health facilities. Damage to water systems has also affected health facilities, creating additional operational challenges. @pahowho teams are deployed to support the assessments, as well as to strengthen the preparedness of the health sector.
