The @WHOEMRO Region is home to more conflicts than any other, along with the health and humanitarian emergencies that conflict brings. Health care itself has come under attack. @WHO is doing whatever we can to support health systems, health services and health workers, and to deliver health supplies. Our country teams in Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon, Afghanistan and elsewhere have stayed and delivered, often at great personal risk. But the one thing the region needs most is the one thing we cannot deliver as WHO: peace. The best medicine is peace. #EMRC73
