SO... lemme try to address some of concerns regarding the #SupercellMake campaign 1 - Winners and runner ups decision process - We go through A LOT of the submissions and the team picks around 12 skins that are really interesting and popular, and then we have an internal voting to select 4 for the community to vote in game - The votes on the website do help organizing the skins, but it's not the only criteria we use - We can spot outliers that were boosted by content creators or really popular artists, so it shouldn't affect our decision in any way - Once the voting ingame ends, the one with the highest votes wins and the others become runner ups - We also sometimes select skins we really like and add them on top of the ones voted by the community 2 - AI, Moderation, and everything related - Definitely we are not happy with having AI and other Skins that didn't follow the guidelines as finalists - The moderation is done manually and by a group of people, so human errors happen and it's hard to have the team knowing every artist and keeping track of the actual owners of the skin - luckily we have a reporting system and it seems quite accurate, so we do require your help when you see something that's not following our guidelines - this campaign had around 14k accepted submissions and around 4k banned, so you can see how approving one by one can sometimes lead to mistakes - this is of course something we will try to improve, but still, its very unlikely, to not sag impossible, that one of these skins would win, specially because we reach out to the artist before announcing it to the community 3 - Everyone is a finalist!!! yay! - total votes do not mean you will win or lose, its only s popularity metric for us and more like a filtering tool, so it's not an actual problem everyone being a finalist (maybe more work for us 😅) - maybe we could consider removing this? might be better than setting a threshold and preventing good artists from becoming finalists, or picking a number that its too hard or too easy... maybe in the end it doesnt make much difference? LET ME KNOW - We are not ending the campaign sooner, still it takes a lot of time to go through a lot of them and shortlisting then for one final voting, so let's stick with the plan So... keep voting, keep sharing your skins because they are all amazing, and leave the rest of the competition to us! For the artists, we are all amazed with the ideas and executions! I think campaign has been my favorite so far and it's so wholesome of how all of you can get the characters SO well!
