The US government lacks every practical or moral authority to determine what is legal under International Law and the rules of free trade. Its measures are not only illegally aimed against Cuba but also aimed against the rest of the international community. Those abiding by them as if they were legal become accomplices to the collective punishment that the US is submitting the Cuban people to. The US government has no authority whatsoever to decide who are or aren't allowed to sell fuel or any other product to Cuba, invest in our country or help our people. Neither has it any right to impose a naval blockade or an energy siege; interdict or search any vessel in the high seas; attack or carry out extrajudicial executions against those who might "suspiciously sail" through international waters; or usurp other peoples' sovereign resources and territories.
