Many of the Cubans who have migrated to the #US are victims of the usual and increasingly discriminatory treatment suffered by newcomers. In their case, this adds to the betrayal of anti-Cuban politicians who have historically manipulated migration for political purposes and have later on abandoned those they encouraged to migrate and promised success and protection to their own fate, who are left at the expense of ferocious anti-immigration repressive policies.
