I was honoured to be received by H.E. President Isaias Afewerki in #Asmara during my recent working visit to #Eritrea for candid and wide-ranging discussions on the state of our Union. I also took the opportunity to bid him farewell ahead of the end of my 8-year tenure as Chairperson of the @_AfricanUnion Commission.
