I attended the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development #FFD4 in Seville today where attending #4P Community of World Leaders - including presidents @sanchezcastejon, @jlprdeangola, @WilliamsRuto and @EmmanuelMacron - endorsed my appointment as the new Special Envoy for the global Pact for Prosperity, People and the Planet. Humbled by their show of confidence, I pledge to amplify the growing global call for a renewed inclusive, equitable multilateral system that integrates Development & Climate Action into a single and coherent global agenda for all. This must include bold reforms in the international financial architecture if we are to succeed. #FFD4Sevilla
