Eyewitness footage showed serious damage at Kuwait International Airport on Wednesday as fire burned and smoke filled the air, following drone and missile attacks. Iran denies involvement. One person was killed and at least 63 people were injured in the attack, including airport workers and passengers, the health ministry said. The civil aviation authority said Kuwait Airways was resuming flights from Terminal 4, after evaluating damage and taking safety measures. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard denies targeting Kuwait International Airport, saying damage to a passenger terminal was caused by a malfunctioning US-made Patriot missile system. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the strikes on Kuwait and Bahrain were carried out in self-defence after the US targeted an Iranian oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz and a telecommunications tower on Qeshm Island. The Ministry said both countries bore “direct and clear responsibility” for the attacks, alleging their territory and facilities had been used to support US attacks
