Turkish MFA on release of convicted terrorist Leader Alexandros Giotopoulos: - We strongly condemn release of Giotopoulos, who was sentenced to 17 life terms and 25 years of aggravated imprisonment for masterminding murders and assassination attempt - Tolerance shown toward this vile terrorist, who orchestrated assassinations and attacks targeting our diplomats, constitutes a grave disrespect to memory of our martyred diplomats and to their families, and is utterly unacceptable - We call on Greek authorities to refrain from steps that would undermine fight against terrorism and to fulfil their obligations regarding punishment of convicted terrorists
