10 June 1982: On the sixth day of the Israeli invasion of #Lebanon, Syrian and Israeli forces clash at the Battle of Sultan Jacob in Beqaa Valley. Israeli tanks surrounded and attacked by Syrian tanks and helicopters. Israelis retreat after losing 30 soldiers and several tanks.
