A federal jury in Chicago has ordered Boeing to pay nearly $50 million to the family of Samya Stumo, a 24-year-old who was one of 346 people killed in a pair of Boeing 737 MAX jet crashes in 2018 and 2019. Her mother @NadiaMilleron, who is running for Congress for a second time as an independent in Massachusetts, says this trial "was not about accountability, just about money" and that the family intends to keep fighting to hold individual company figures and parts manufacturers responsible. "This idea that they can just pay money and then continue on with the same behavior, that's what we object to," says Milleron. "We want to expose what they're actually doing in the company that could have caused these crashes."

to chocada, 50 milhões pra família da Samya. a mãe dela tá certa, o valor é bom mas a responsabilidade individual ainda tá solta.
