Thank you Freedom House. I am honoured and humbled by this award, coming from a highly respected organisation that has devoted itself to the promotion of freedom and democracy around the world.
I might have received the award personally, but for me this is an award to all of us Finns. We are a country that realises the importance of democracy and freedom - a cause worth working for every single day.
