On infrastructure, the 750km Northern Kenya Gateway Corridor linking Isiolo, Wajir, and Mandera counties is progressing well. This transformative project costs KSh100 billion and will enhance connectivity and unlock economic opportunities in the region. We are also establishing the KSh5 billion County Livestock Investment Company, which will support more than 350,000 pastoralists in 21 arid and semi-arid counties to establish and own livestock enterprises, enabling communities to derive greater value from livestock and participate more meaningfully in the economy. These are some of the many initiatives underway in Northern Kenya. No part of Kenya should ever be left behind because of geography, history, or politics.
