Met representatives of the Kenyan diaspora from 40 countries, State House Nairobi. Commended them for being excellent ambassadors of our country, pointing out that many organisations give sterling accounts of their hardwork, consistency, reliability and dependability. We have made it easier for the Kenyan diaspora to engage with government at home, own Affordable Housing Programme property at home through the Boma Yangu portal, and support their families by paying for medical insurance with the Social Health Authority. At the same time, are mobilising Kenyans to find jobs overseas. In the past three years, 540,000 Kenyans have found work abroad following the streamlining of the sector and elimination of fraudsters.
