We are living through extraordinary times that require extraordinary measures. We cannot leave the social dimension behind, just as we cannot leave investment behind. And doing more also requires more resources. We need sustainable, predictable, and resilient revenue for the Union budget and we are highly concerned by the complete lack of progress in the Council on the reform of the system of own resources since 2020.
