We welcome today's vote to extend the mandate of the European Parliament's Special Committee on the Housing Crisis. Europe now needs a dedicated budget to guarantee decent and affordable housing for all. We also need stronger action to regulate short-term rentals, so that homes remain available for the people who live and work in our cities and communities
