There are specific visas that were created to ensure that survivors of trafficking and domestic violence could remain safely in the US.
Backlogs and arbitrary caps combined with Trump’s cruel mass detention campaign mean that too often these people are languishing in detention. This is unacceptable and goes against the whole point of these programs.
