I got a call that someone backed out of an allocation, and I have until the end of business today to lock it in. Delivery would be around November. I’m on the fence about the full Cohiba extended leather interior because my current GTS is GT silver over Black w/ chalk stitching. The logical side of me says cloth is the whole point of a GT3. I daily my 911, drive canyon roads regularly, and I have a two-year-old son who absolutely loves going to Cars & Coffee and riding with me. He usually has snacks, chips, and all the typical toddler messes. Cloth seems like it would actually be more practical, cooler in the summer, and honestly more “GT” than a luxury leather interior. O tecido parece ser realmente mais prático, mais fresco no verão e, sinceramente, mais “GT” do que um interior de couro de luxo. The other thing I keep coming back to is PDK. A outra coisa em que sempre volto é o PDK. I love rowing gears in my current 992 GTS on an open road or canyon drive, but the more I think about it, the more PDK feels like the right transmission for this car. It’ll be my daily, I drive in rush hour traffic to work and I think the GT3’s engine deserves to live in the upper RPM range where PDK really shines. I also like that my wife can drive it if she wants to. Adoro trocar marchas manualmente no meu 992 GTS atual em estrada aberta ou nas serra, mas quanto mais penso nisso, mais o PDK parece ser a transmissão certa para este carro. Vai ser meu carro do dia a dia, dirijo no trânsito de horário de pico para o trabalho e acho que o motor do GT3 merece viver na faixa de RPM mais alta, onde o PDK realmente brilha. Curious if anyone has gone down the same path and whether there’s anything you’d absolutely change before I lock this in.
