If there’s one thing the Netherlands excels at, it is dealing with water. India has shown considerable interest in our expertise in the field of water management. We’re looking to deepen our cooperation in this area. 

That’s why, together with Prime Minister @narendramodi, I visited an icon among Dutch water engineering structures: the Afsluitdijk barrier dam.

Here, we learned about the history of the dam, how it protects us from flooding and how it enables innovative and sustainable forms of energy.   🇳🇱🤝🇮🇳
