Deep admiration for the perseverance of Sviatlana @Tsihanouskaya. For years, she has been standing up for democracy in Belarus, at great risk to her own life. So it was an honour to receive her today.
We discussed the importance of a democratic and stable Belarus for the security of all of Europe. The Netherlands will continue to actively support the protection of human rights and the release of all political prisoners.
