Because no covenant is complete without dessert. 🍰 On Shavuot, we celebrate one of the most momentous events in Jewish history - the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. And along with the Torah came the laws of kosher - which the Jewish people had no time to fully prepare for. So in those first sacred hours, they ate what they had. Dairy. Thousands of years later, that moment lives on in every cheesecake, blintz, and cheese-filled pastry that graces our Shavuot tables.
