Good meeting with Dr Juan Carlos Velasco Guerrero, Minister of Health of #Peru, on the sidelines of #WHA79. I praised the minister for Peru's expansion of its immunization programme as part of its commitment to advancing #HealthForAll in the country and throughout the Andes region. We discussed how misinformation is playing a role in vaccine hesitancy and outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases like measles.  In addition, we agreed on the importance of negotiating an effective @WHO Pandemic Agreement's Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing system annex, which can make the world safer from future pandemics.  @Minsa_Peru
