Pleased to welcome President @GeoPresident_ Mikheil Kavelashvili to @WHO. We discussed #Georgia's health reforms, including strengthening primary health care and advancing universal health coverage, as well as addressing risk factors for noncommunicable diseases, including tobacco and physical activity. I reaffirmed @WHO's commitment to supporting Georgia's journey towards #HealthForAll, including through promoting healthy lifestyles, strengthening health services, and improving access to health care for vulnerable populations in rural and remote areas. I also thanked President Kavelashvili for his commitment to global health, including advancing digital inclusion and the responsible use of AI in health. I welcome his participation in the #AIforGood Summit and leadership on AI governance.
