Good meeting with @mohpegypt Minister Khalid Atef Abdul Ghaffar on #Egypt’s strong progress on multiple health fronts, including hepatitis B and C, chronic disease and trachoma control. I congratulated President @AlsisiOfficial for his "100 Million Healthy Lives" (100 Million Seha) initiative that includes nationwide screening for diabetes, hypertension and obesity, alongside major pediatric and maternal care programs. I also thanked the Minister for Egypt’s humanitarian support to people in need of medical care, and their companions, arriving from #Gaza and #Sudan. #WHA79
