Australia and the Pacific are stronger when we work together. Today I met with Prime Minister Wale of Solomon Islands and we agreed to start negotiations on a new comprehensive treaty between our nations. When there are challenges in our region and around the world, we'll tackle them together. Because a more secure Pacific means a more secure Australia. And that's what this treaty will deliver. 🇦🇺🇸🇧
