🇩🇪 A Kazakh citizen suspected of working for Russian intelligence has been arrested in Berlin
According to the German prosecutor’s office, the 47-year-old Kazakh national, identified as Sergei K., spent the past year passing information on Germany’s defense industry to Russian intelligence services.
He also photographed government buildings in Berlin and official vehicles of European politicians.
The man was additionally planning to recruit people to form a sabotage and espionage group. In messages to his Russian handler, he stated that he was “ready for anything.”
