The Islamic regime in Iran is disrupting a new round of negotiations with the United States.
Washington had hoped to resume talks with Tehran as early as tomorrow on extending the ceasefire set to expire on April 22.
Donald Trump said his envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, would travel to Islamabad for the negotiations.
He also warned of new strikes on Iranian infrastructure if no deal is reached.
At the same time, Tehran signaled the talks could collapse before even beginning. Iranian state media said the country currently has “no plans” to participate in a new round of contacts, a position also echoed by a spokesperson for the foreign ministry.
