🇫🇷🇱🇧 A French United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon soldier has been killed in an attack in southern Lebanon.
Emmanuel Macron confirmed the death of Senior Sergeant Florian Montorio of the 17th Parachute Regiment in Montauban, who was killed during the incident. Three other soldiers were injured and evacuated.
Macron said everything indicates responsibility lies with Hezbollah, and called on Lebanese authorities to immediately arrest those responsible and cooperate with UNIFIL.
