Tim Cook will step down as CEO of Apple in September
He will be succeeded by John Ternus, currently Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering.
Cook will transition to the role of Executive Chairman. He was appointed CEO in 2011 following the resignation of Steve Jobs.
