🇫🇷 In Lyon, an illegal immigrant and homeless man attempted to stab a young doctor in a hospital
A 23-year-old man armed with a kitchen knife broke into the emergency department of Lyon Sud Hospital in Pierre-Bénite. When a young medical intern approached him, the man spat in his face, insulted him, and then pulled out a knife and tried to stab him.
Hospital staff managed to subdue the attacker, after which he was arrested by police. A drug test showed he had cocaine in his system. He admitted to the crime and was taken into custody.
The young doctor suffered superficial wounds and was given one day off.
