Al Bayati was working as a security guard at the DFO Homebush shopping center in Sydney.
CCTV captured him leading the toddler away from a playground while her mother was shopping.
He took her into an isolated stairwell where the assault occurred.
He was sentenced to four and a half years in prison with a non-parole period of two and a half years.
