🇺🇸 Former FedEx driver Tanner Lynn Horner, 34, has been sentenced to capital punishment for the kidnapping and m*rder of 7-year-old Athena Strand.
In November 2022, Horner abducted the girl from her home in Paradise, Texas, shortly after delivering a box of “You Can Be Anything” Barbies while working as a contract FedEx driver.
He initially claimed he accidentally hit her with his van and then strangled her in a panic. Prosecutors presented evidence of sexual assault and brutal violence.
Horner pleaded guilty to capital m*rder and aggravated kidnapping.
