Four Palestine Action activists were convicted on Tuesday of breaking into an Israeli defence factory in the UK and smashing equipment with sledgehammers and crowbars.
Jurors in Woolwich Crown Court found Charlotte Head, 30, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona Kamio, 30 and Fatema Rajwani, 21, guilty of criminal damage. They face sentencing on June 12 and said they wanted to dismantle drones and weaponry that would be used to kill people.
The attack was one of the events that led the government to ban the group as a “terrorist organisation”
