An Israeli district court in Beersheba rejected an appeal against the six-day detention extension of Global Sumud Flotilla activists Thiago Avila and Saif Abukeshek on May 6.
Rights group Adalah said the activists were detained illegally in international waters while carrying out a humanitarian mission for Gaza. Israeli authorities accused them of security-related offenses, though no formal indictments have been filed
