Türkiye has delivered 360 tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon at Beirut port, in a joint operation involving Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and the Turkish Charity Stone Association (Sadaka Tasi), as Israeli attacks continue to drive mass displacement.
The shipment was handed over in a ceremony attended by Lebanese officials, Türkiye’s ambassador to Beirut Murat Lütem, and representatives of Lebanon’s Higher Relief Commission and government ministries.
Officials say more than one million people have been displaced amid ongoing Israeli attacks and continued violations of a ceasefire, with humanitarian conditions worsening across the country. Türkiye says it has now delivered over 1,700 tons of aid since 2024, with further shipments planned
