The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has begun enforcing a blockade on all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports, targeting vessels in the Gulf and Gulf of Oman.
CENTCOM said the measures will be applied “impartially against vessels of all nations” but stressed that transit through the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports will not be affected
