Grammy winning US rock band The Strokes used their Coachella set to deliver a powerful message denouncing US foreign intervention and US-Israeli destruction in the Middle East during their performance of 'Oblivius'.
They showed the destruction of universities in Gaza and Iran, including Gaza’s last-standing university, al-Israa University, as well as a montage featuring former Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mosaddegh and Latin American leaders whose deaths or oustings the CIA has been proven or suspected to have been involved in, as lead singer Julian Casablancas sang, “What side you standing on?”
