Palestinian council member Sally Abed faced abuse from Israeli council members for speaking in Arabic during a Haifa City Council meeting on May 5, telling her to "go to Gaza" and that she was not in Palestine.
Abed responded that it was her legal right to speak Arabic in Haifa, a shared city where Arabic has been spoken for centuries
